SEO Audit
Find out whether your SEO is producing meaningful business results
An SEO audit looks past rankings and traffic totals to the technical health, content quality, and vendor work behind them — and whether visibility is actually contributing to the business.
What we review
SEO vendor review
Where an agency, freelancer, or internal team has been handling SEO, the audit compares what was promised in the contract or scope against what appears to have actually been completed — backlink quality, content quality, technical implementation, and whether reporting is accurate.
Traffic vs. meaningful traffic
More visitors is not the same as more business.
Increased organic traffic does not automatically mean improved business performance. Traffic can grow for pages, queries, or regions that have little to do with what the business actually sells. The audit looks at whether growing visibility is reaching the searches, pages, and audiences that matter.
Common SEO risks
- Poor quality or spammy backlinks
- Thin location pages built for search rather than visitors
- Duplicate content
- Low-quality AI-generated content
- Technical issues limiting crawling or indexing
- Bad redirects
- Indexation problems
- Keyword cannibalization
- Poor local optimization
Business outcome review
Where the available data permits, we examine whether organic traffic is contributing to leads, qualified opportunities, bookings, sales, and revenue — not just search console impressions and clicks.
Deliverables
A technical and content health summary, a vendor performance review where applicable, prioritized fixes, and a business outcome section where the data allows.
Frequently asked questions
Our traffic is up. Why would we need an SEO audit?
Rising traffic and rising business results are not the same thing. The audit looks at whether the traffic is reaching the right pages, matching real search intent, and converting -- not just whether the total number went up.
Can you evaluate backlink quality without expensive tools?
A meaningful backlink review is possible with standard SEO tooling and Google Search Console data. Scope and tooling are confirmed as part of the audit setup.
What if our SEO is handled in-house, not by an agency?
The audit works the same way. It reviews the work product and results -- the site, the content, the technical setup, and the reporting -- regardless of who performed the work.
Will this tell us if AI-generated content is hurting our rankings?
The audit reviews content quality, originality, and relevance to search intent, and flags patterns commonly associated with low-quality or AI-generated content at scale. It does not claim to detect AI authorship with certainty -- no tool reliably can.
SEO audit
Do not have time to reverse engineer your SEO reports?
An SEO audit looks beyond rankings and traffic to evaluate the work being performed, technical issues, search visibility, traffic quality, and whether organic performance is contributing to meaningful business results.
